The trip starts in Rome with a stay at the 4-star Excel Hotel Roma Montemario. The hotel is three miles from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and a short bus ride from Vatican City. Rooms overlook the Monte Mario Nature Reserve and come with free Wi-Fi. Hotel facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a gym and a restaurant.
Next, guests will take the train from Rome to Venice, before checking in at the Hotel Ambasciatori. This 4-star property, located on the mainland in the downtown area of Mestre, is roughly a 10-minute bus journey from central Venice, with its network of bridges, canals and surrounding islands.
