Steven Allan has appeared as a judge on STV show "The Hour" and worked as a photographer in Los Angeles. Now, the photography expert is offering Travelzoo subscribers the chance to attend one of his full-day location shoot courses for £35 (saving a huge £70 on the usual price).
The course will teach you how to get the most from your DSLR camera, and will include tips on how to pose and compose your subjects for landscape and urban photography.
You'll also get a rundown of the camera's manual controls and a "handy hints" guide before going off on a location shoot around the city.
If you fancy a day in a photography studio, you can take up a second course for an additional £40, which takes place in Steven Allan Images' specially-equipped studio.
Save 67% on the regular price of this course -- you'll learn how to shoot frames like a professional, and each student will get to look through the pictures they take during the day.
Both courses last from 9am-4pm. The location shoot courses are held on selected Saturdays -- courses are currently scheduled for 18 August, 1 September, 15 September and 13 October.
The studio courses take place on selected Sundays; upcoming dates include 19 August, 26 August, 9 September, 23 September, 7 October and 21 October.
More dates will be added, however courses will not run on consecutive days so please check availability for each one.
