The Deal

An overnight stay at The Rock Hotel in West Yorkshire is now available for £65 per room, including an exclusive-to-Travelzoo 5-course tasting-menu dinner at the hotel's 2-AA-Rosette restaurant.

Originally built as a wayside inn in the 17th century, the property is in the peaceful Holywell Green valley, between Halifax and Huddersfield.

The on-site restaurant, Churchill's, is headed up by former "Masterchef: The Professionals" contestant Ben Varley and promises a seasonal tasting menu based on local ingredients that will change fortnightly. It currently features classics with an unusual twist, such as a goats' cheese salad with olive oil and honey, peas and radishes or seared pork belly with poached tiger prawns and parsley risotto.

Valid for Monday-Saturday stays until 30 November. Additional nights are £40 on a bed-and-breakfast basis and can be on any night of the week. Subject to availability.
