The Deal

Ghyll Manor is a 17th-century country house hotel in West Sussex with its own private lake in 40-acre grounds. For £39 instead of up to £80, Travelzoo subscribers can tuck into a 3-course dinner with champagne for two at this rural retreat's AA-Rosette restaurant.

This gourmet package offers "unfussy, simple classic dishes" (AA Restaurant Guide). In full, you get:

- A glass of champagne each
- Any two starters from the à la carte menu* such as cauliflower soup or poached red mullet with carrot and pink peppercorn dressing
- Any two main courses from the à la carte menu*, with options including English rack of lamb with savoy cabbage and bacon, or wild mushroom and potato terrine with confit peppers
- Any two desserts from the à la carte menu* such as a trio of chocolate with English berries or summer poached fruit with vanilla crème fraiche

Ghyll Manor is a 30-minute drive from Brighton, and the market towns of Arundel and Chichester are both within a 60-minute drive.

Each person is entitled to any starter, any main course and any dessert from the à la carte menu plus a glass of champagne each. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. Valid for lunch or dinner, seven days a week, subject to availability, until 3 October. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased per person or as gifts. A limit of one voucher may be used per table. The menu is subject to change. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. The regular value stated is based on the maximum combined cost of the items in this package at time of publication. *A £1.50 supplement applies to the salmon and duck
starter, a £5 supplement applies to the sea bass and rib-eye main
course, and a £3 supplement applies to the cheese board option.
