For the equivalent of £19.50 each, two people can tuck into a 2-course à la carte meal prepared by popular TV chef Tony Tobin at his 2-AA-Rosette-awarded Dining Room restaurant in Reigate -- a gourmet experience that would usually cost £68.
The à la carte menu changes throughout the year to reflect the best seasonal ingredients -- here's what the current menu includes:
- Starters, such as roasted smoked salmon in wasabi sauce, or guinea fowl sausage roll with celeriac purée and Madeira sauce
- Main dishes, such as five-spiced belly of pork in juniper sauce, or fillet of fish with olive mash
- Side orders such as French beans and shallots, and braised peas with lettuce and bacon
Chef Tony Tobin has made over 300 appearances on TV shows such as "Ready, Steady, Cook" and the Good Food Channel. The Dining Room currently holds two AA Rosettes, and Toby is praised in the AA Restaurant Guide 2012 for continuing to "deliver the culinary goods", and producing modern cooking that "buzzes with good ideas taken from around the globe".
Harden's Restaurant Guide 2012 also gives a special mention to its "cosy living-room feel" and "evolving" cuisine.
The venue is also offering a 20% discount on a bottle of False Bay Chenin Blanc or Shiraz with your à la carte dinner.
