Cotswolds Essence magazine calls the intimate Mayfield House Hotel a "little gem". It is set in the Avon valley, in the village of Crudwell, which is named after the stream that runs through it. Its location in the southern Cotswolds puts you within five miles of Tetbury and Malmesbury, two of the area's prettiest towns.

Head chef Nick Batstone serves a selection of seasonally balanced and locally sourced food. Current dishes include pan-fried red mullet, pheasant breast with parsnip mash and passion fruit crème brûlée with brandy snap rolls.

This offer is valid for Sunday-Thursday stays until 11 April.

Friday- and Saturday-night stays are available for a supplement of £10 per person, per night, payable directly to the hotel. A 2-night minimum stay applies for Saturday nights. Additional nights cost £69 per room on a bed-and-breakfast basis, payable directly to the hotel.
