The Deal

Usually a members-only venue, The Hospital Club in the heart of Covent Garden is offering Travelzoo subscribers an exclusive 2-course meal with wine, plus a ticket to its brand-new Jimi Hendrix memorabilia exhibition -- all for £30.

"Hear My Train A Comin' - Hendrix Hits London" runs from 27 July to 31 August, when more than 70 of the legendary musician's records, items of clothing, photos and fan letters will be on display. The exhibition celebrates the period in the late 1960s during which he lived in the capital, and also features video interviews with the likes of Iggy Pop, Jeff Beck and Joey Ramone.

This offer includes a ticket to the exhibition in The Hospital Club's gallery, plus a starter and main course complete with half a bottle of red or white wine, with after-dinner coffee or tea at The Hospital Club's restaurant.

The Hospital Club dates back to the middle of the 18th century, when it was St Paul's Hospital. The gallery has previously hosted pieces from acclaimed artists including Banksy and Annie Liebowitz. Head chef at the restaurant is Duncan Cruickshank, who previously worked at Paul Heathcote's Michelin-starred eatery The Longridge in Preston.

The meal and exhibition offer is £30, already inclusive of a £1-per-ticket booking fee. Alternatively, buy the ticket only for £5, instead of the usual £9.
