The Deal

For £35, get to grips with chocolate-making and tasting at the boutique chocolatier, Somersby Chocolates, in Mapperley, just outside the centre of Nottingham.

The beginners' course -- which usually costs £120 -- takes place above the pretty Somersby Chocolates shop from Tuesday to Saturday and lasts for approximately two and a half hours.

During this unique experience, you will taste a variety of high-quality chocolates and gain an understanding and appreciation of various origins, textures and tastes.

You will also learn how to temper chocolate, then use it in a range of moulds to create beautiful patterned chocolates, to which you can then add a range of toppings.

When your experience has finished, wrap up your chocolate creations to take home and enjoy with friends and family.

Somersby Chocolates is located alongside the boutique shops and restaurants of "Mapperley Top", a 10-minute drive from the centre of Nottingham.

Complimentary tea, coffee and cold drinks will be available throughout your experience.
