This grand Georgian country house sits on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The property was built in the 18th century and is set in its own private grounds in a region made famous by the stories of James Herriot and the television series "Heartbeat". The seaside town of Scarborough is around a 15-minute drive away. The hotel has spacious public areas, a cocktail bar, the on-site Derwent Restaurant, a heated indoor swimming pool and leisure facilities.

There's a classic menu featuring favourites such as beef bourguignon with red wine mushrooms and shallots, served with butter, sauteed potatoes and herbed baby carrots, and sticky toffee pudding.
