The Deal

Conwy, a medieval walled town in North Wales, is a "cultural treasure", says Condé Nast Traveller. Travelzoo subscribers can now stay at the Michelin Guide-listed Castle Hotel, on the site of a former Cistercian abbey, for £135. This deal regularly costs £260 and includes:

- Accommodation for two in an upgraded Premium room (subject to availability)
- Full Welsh breakfast for two
- A 4-course set-menu à la carte dinner for two in the 2-AA-Rosette restaurant (worth £90)
- Complimentary bottle of champagne in the room on arrival (worth £40)

The 16th-century hotel is not short of admirers -- named the AA's Hotel of the Year for Wales in 2005/'06, it was described as "one of Conwy's most distinguished buildings", while the fine dining in Dawson's Restaurant has earned it two AA Rosettes and a listed in the Michelin Guide.

The property is an hour and 20 minutes' drive from Liverpool and an hour and 40 minutes' drive from Manchester.
The deal is valid for Sunday-Thursday stays until 30 April. Add on an extra night on a B&B basis for a total of £219 per stay.
