£25 - 4-Hr 'Shooting Newcastle' Photography Course, Reg £100

The Deal

Neil Atkinson is a professional photographer who hosted ITV's photography series "A Moment in Time". With this offer, Atkinson will teach you to use your digital camera effectively with a 4-hour photography class for £25 (instead of up to £100).

Choose from three different classes:
-Shooting Newcastle's History -- spend an hour in a cafe discussing photographic techniques, followed by three hours walking around the city's walls and towers. During this class you'll shoot Newcastle's oldest church, cobbled streets, Blackfriars Monastery and the Stephenson Monument. You'll also be provided with copies of 100-year-old images for a before and after exercise
-Street Safari -- spend an hour spent in cafe learning different technique before putting them into practice with a 3-hour tour walking around the city centre, shooting interesting buildings, street scenes and memorials
-Beginner's DSLR -- spend three hours learning techniques in an informal classroom session, followed by an hour shooting bird, pond and plant life in a wildlife garden

Composition, exposure, ISO sensitivity, shutter speeds, apertures, metering modes, manual focusing and camera operations will be covered in each class. You must bring your own DSLR camera.

The meeting point for the Shooting Newcastle's History class and the Street Safari class is The Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle city centre. Those taking part in the Beginner's DSLR classes will meet at The Jubilee Theatre.
