The vineyards for this prestigious cava house are all situated in the Alt Penedes region, the highest quality vineyard area. This cava is only produced in exceptional vintages and makes an ideal aperitif wine. It also goes well with desserts and fruits

Marques de Monistrol Chardonnay 2006 -- Reg £12.99

Awarded a very high score of 90 points by the Penin Guide to Spanish Wine 2011, the intense aromatic character of this wine is reminiscent of New World and especially New Zealand sauvignons.
