The Small Print

Valid for two people and must be used in one visit. Each person is entitled to a five-course tasting menu dinner and a glass of wine each. Advance booking is required. Valid seven days a week, subject to availability, from 5.30pm-9.30pm. Valid until 30 November. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased, also as gifts. Menu items subject to change. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Gratuity is not included. The Deal

The Alexandra and Victoria hotel is set within a Grade II-listed building on Southport's famous promenade. Now two people can dine on a 5-course meal with a glass of wine each at the hotel's restaurant for £25 instead of the usual £60.

The Dining Rooms' head chef Tom Wareing specialises in creating sumptuous French and British cuisine.

Although the tasting menu is subject to change, here's an idea of what each person can expect:

- Soup of the day
- Smoked mackerel fishcake with horseradish crème fraîche
- Chicken supreme with dauphinoise potatoes, shallot and mushroom jus, and asparagus
- Sticky toffee pudding
- A selection of cheeses and biscuits with grapes and celery
- Tea or coffee served with chocolate mints

You'll also get a glass of wine each with this offer, which is available seven days a week until the end of November.
