The Small Print
Valid for 8-course food and wine pairing experience. Each voucher is valid for two people and must be used in one visit. There is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be used per table. Valid at lunch and dinner, Sunday-Thursday and before 8pm Friday, until 29 February, 2012, excluding 1 December-2 January, 2012, subject to availability. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased, also as gifts. Reservations are required. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Menu items are subject to change. Gratuity is not included. Dinner must be taken before 8pm on Fridays.
The Deal
Located on Manchester's bustling Deansgate area, Evuna is an elegant Spanish restaurant and bar, highly-praised by Time Out for its "cracking Spanish wines", and for its "fabulous" tapas by Metro.co.uk. It also featured in prestigious restaurant guide, Harden's in 2010.
For £50, Travelzoo subscribers can share an authentic 8-course tasting menu with wine tasting -- a unique gourmet experience that would regularly cost £100.
Available for lunch and dinner until February, 2012, the offer includes:
- Traditional Spanish cheese from La Mancha with membrillo
- Sea bass with garlic and chilli or olives
- Garlic prawns or tortilla
- Serrano ham or asparagus topped with mushroom and manchego
- Paprika chicken or piquillo peppers stuffed with rice and Spanish blue cheese
- Finest fillet chilli steak or vegetable croquettes
- Spanish pork and beef meatballs in spicy tomato sauce or roasted vegetables
- Spanish cheesecake
Guests will also enjoy a wine-tasting session alongside the meal sampling eight different award-winning grape varieties chosen by Evuna's leading wine experts to complement with each course.
The warm-toned and intimate restaurant was awarded Best Wine List in the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards in 2004 and 2006, and has been nominated again this year.
This deal is valid 1-7pm Sunday, 12-9:30pm Monday-Thursday and 12-8pm Friday.
