The Deal

The elegant Hotel Russell is a landmark Victorian property overlooking Russell Square Gardens. The Grade II-listed hotel retains many period features.

For £25, two people can take champagne afternoon tea and enjoy the hotel's refined surroundings. This outing would usually cost £53.70 and includes:

- Glass of champagne each
- Fine pastries
- Scones with clotted cream and jam
- Selection of finger sandwiches, such as smoked salmon, cream cheese and tomato, glazed ham and mustard, prawn with Marie Rose sauce and egg and mustard cress
- A selection of teas

Afternoon tea can be taken in the Tempus Bar or Library, which includes original oak panelling and beautiful stained glass windows, from 2pm-5pm daily.
