Philippe Starck's playful decor includes giant chess pieces and gold-tooth stools in the lobby, which The Standard describes as "fantastic". There are floor-to-ceiling windows in every room and guests have a choice of different-coloured mood settings.

The hotel is also home to the Light Bar, which is featured in World's Best Bars. The trademark minimalist setting has a ceiling of vibrant lighting and a screened-off bar. Asia de Cuba restaurant combines elements of Asian and Cuban cuisine and has the largest selection of sipping rums in London. The restaurant contrasts white surfaces and bare bulbs with majestic columns adorned with books, vintage posters and quirky pictures.

Located in Covent Garden near ther cobbled piazza and marketplace, the hotel is in a prime position for shopping and sightseeing, and is within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and clubs of Soho. The hotel offers "the perfect way to kick-start an uber-glamorous city break" says Elle.
