The Deal

Unwind with a spa package at the 4-star Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel and Spa, set in the Pennine Hills, for £45. This package, which includes 50 minutes of treatment time, afternoon tea and full use of the spa facilities, usually costs £97.

-A 25-minute Rapid Results facial
-A 25-minute massage. Choose from three options: My Moment of Tranquility (a calming scalp massage); a Rapid Comfort Massage (which focuses on one or two areas of the body where you're experiencing tension); or an Indian head massage to relieve tension and to improve circulation
-Afternoon tea with finger sandwiches, cream buns, scones, tea and coffee
-Full use of the facilities, including the sauna, Jacuzzi and the solarium
-Use of a robe and slippers

The spa is set within nine acres of private grounds. It is located in Rochdale, which is within a 25-minute drive of both Manchester and Bolton.
