The Deal

The Condé Nast Johansens-recommended Broadoaks Country House hotel in the Lake District is offering an overnight gourmet stay for two for £159 per room. This deal includes accommodationin a Double Room in one of the Classic 7 Collection, plus all of the following:

- Breakfast in bed
- Cream tea on arrival (worth £17.90)
- 4-course à la carte dinner for two (worth £84) in the Michelin Guide-listed Oaks Restaurant
- Lake checkout until noon
- Use of a local spa

Set in seven acres of landscaped grounds in the Troutbeck Valley, the Victorian country house hotel (rated 5-star guest accommodation by the AA), has been described as a "delightful retreat" by Condé Nast Johansens and a "haven of glamour" by The Daily Telegraph. Boutique rooms are individually decorated and are named after trees in the Lake District. The Michelin Guide-recommended Oaks Restaurant serves dishes including crab tortellini with sautéed wild mushrooms and salsa verde, rack of Lakeland lamb with hotpot potatoes, and Broadoaks sticky toffee pudding with warm fudge sauce.

Pets are welcome in ground-floor rooms. There's also a Four Paws Menu approved by the hotel's resident cockapoo, Molly.
