This voucher is valid for an overnight stay for two people in a Classic Double Room with breakfast in bed, cream tea on arrival and a 3-course à la carte menu for two with canapés. Vouchers are valid for Sunday-Thursday stays from 16 August-31 October. Not available on

The Deal

The Condé Nast Johansens-recommended Broadoaks Country House hotel, right in the Lake District, is offering an overnight gourmet stay for two for £169 per room. This deal includes accommodation in a Double Room in either the Classic 7 Collection or Bijou Collection, plus all of the following:

- Breakfast in bed
- Cream tea on arrival (worth £17.90)
- 3-course à la carte dinner for two with canapés (worth £84) in the Michelin Guide-recommended Oaks Restaurant
- Lake Checkout until noon

Set in seven acres of landscaped grounds in the Troutbeck Valley, the Victorian hotel (rated 5-star guest accommodation by the AA), offers views of the Lake District. Boutique rooms are individually decorated and all are named after trees in the Lake District. The Michelin Guide-recommended Oaks Restaurant serves dishes including crab tortellini with sautéed wild mushrooms and salsa verde, rack of Lakeland lamb with hotpot potatoes, and Broadoaks sticky toffee pudding with warm fudge sauce.

Pets are welcome in ground-floor rooms. There's also a Four Paws Menu approved by the hotel's resident cockapoo, Molly.

Valid Sunday-Thursday from 16 August-31 October.

Add on an extra night on a B&B basis for a total of £299 per room. Upgrade to a Suite or a Romantic Collection Room for £199 and add on an additional B&B stay for a total of £345 per room.
Children (aged between 3-11) can stay on a B&B basis for an extra £30 per night. Dogs can stay on a 'doggie dinnner, B&B stay' for an extra £25 per night.
