The Deal

For £199 per room, escape to a Lake District hotel described by The Daily Telegraph as “mind blowing” and tuck into a Michelin-starred dinner. This package from Sharrow Bay on the shores of Ullswater saves 58% on the regular value and includes:

-Overnight accommodation for two in an upgraded Deluxe Room
-6-course dinner at the Michelin-starred, 2-AA-Rosette restaurant (worth £75 per person)
-Bottle of chilled house champagne in the room on arrival (worth £55)
-Full English breakfast

Stay seven days a week until 18 December. Two-night stays are also available for £298 per room, or stay three nights for £397, with daily full English breakfast and dinner on one night.

The restaurant was one of the first in the country to be awarded a Michelin star and has retained it for 14 consecutive years. Try the roast breast of quail with truffle fettuccine, the shoulder of Herdwick lamb with a tomato and rosemary sauce, or the sticky toffee pudding, which the restaurant claims was invented here in the 1970s.

The hotel has won a host of awards and is recommended by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the top places to stay in the Lake District, with Red magazine praising its "old-fashioned luxury". Explore the 12 acres of on-site gardens, walk along the lake shore or take a cruise on an Ullswater Steamer (local charges apply).
