The Small Print

This voucher is valid for two people and must be used in one visit. Each person is entitled to two courses from the à la carte menu. Voucher may be used for dinner Thursday-Saturday until 1 May, 2012, excluding Christmas Eve, New Years' Eve and Valentine's Day. The use of the voucher is subject to availability and advance reservation is required. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased per person or as gifts. There is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be used per table. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Menu items are subject to change. Gratuity is not included.

The Deal

“The Globe & Rainbow boasts a picture-perfect location”, offers guests a "varied and diverse" menu and food that "goes far and beyond the boundaries and expectations of your average pub fare", claims the Food & Drink Guide.

For the equivalent of just £12.50 each, Travelzoo subscribers can experience a 2-course dinner for two people at this rustic gastropub and save up to 52%. This deal includes:

- Any two starters, such as mussels steamed in white wine with garlic, cream and fresh herbs, or pan-fried chicken livers with locally foraged wild mushrooms and toast
- Any two main courses, like pan-roast duck breast served with pear mash, beetroot purée and damson jus, or seared sea bass fillet with herb mash, spaghetti vegetables and a curried mussel cream

Alternatively, you could swap your starters for two tempting desserts, like a selection of British cheeses with homemade chutney, or sticky toffee pudding served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.
