Customer attention by the staff was excellent and very accommodating. We have been on a few afternoon teas and this was the best yet.

Staff inquired if we had any allergies to any food substances which was good and also made me a special pot of jam to go with the home made scones as I didn't want strawberry jam. Also they didn't skimp on the food or the pots of tea. A plus was the wine from their own vineyard.

There was a problem with the kitchen. Apparently the scones had gone wrong. This meant we had a very long wait for the tea to arrive. I could not understand why we were not given the sandwiches at least. We did not realise that we were paying equivalent to £8.95 for a glass of wine. If we went again we would just pay the £14.95 which was the price for the full afternoon tea without wine.
