The Deal

Jealous of Jamie and nuts about Nigella? Tap into your inner masterchef with this fabulous offer for a half-day course with drinks, nibbles and lunch at the Kent Cookery School and save £40 on the usual price.

Usually £75, but now just £35 exclusively for Travelzoo subscribers, this 3-hour group class includes both demonstrations and hands-on cooking of a range of dishes designed for you to be able to recreate easily at home.

Refreshments and pastries or nibbles are served on arrival, and at the end of the class you get to eat your own delicious meal with a glass of beer or wine. You will also receive a voucher for £10 towards any other day course at the cookery school.

Choose from four class types:

- Bread Baking: Learn how to make a range of breads from around the world using traditional methods. Courses take place on 5 August, 5 September and 3 October

- Italian Food: Discover the secrets of authentic Italian cuisine beyond pizza. Courses take place on 9 September and 14 October

- Easy Dinner Parties: Create simple but sophisticated contemporary dishes that are ideal for entertaining. Courses take place on 24 August, 16 September and 24 October

- French Cuisine: Master classic and contemporary dishes from our gastronomically gifted neighbours. Courses take place on 26 August, 30 September and 20 October

The Kent Cookery School will add further dates for courses as and when there is demand,so if you can't make any of the dates above please check with the school. Your voucher will be valid for any of these additional half-day courses until 30 November.

The Kent Cookery School is based at the award-winning Secret Garden restaurant in Mersham le Hatch. This charming converted coach house won Kent Restaurant of the Year 2010 at the Taste of Kent awards.
