The Deal

An overnight stay in the 18th-century Finnstown Country House Hotel on the outskirts of Dublin is now £99 per room. This package, which includes a 3-course à la carte dinner and a bottle of sparkling wine, saves 39% on the usual price and is valid any day of the week. In full, you get:

The hotel is set in 45 acres of grounds and is within easy reach of counties of Meath, Kildare and Wicklow. It has a leisure centre with a swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court, two bars (one being a cellar bar) and the AA-Rosette-awarded Peacock Restaurant. The à la carte menu includes dishes such as steak and blue cheese salad, marinated loin of venison, and poached pears with a red wine and cinnamon sauce (subject to change according to season).

Extra nights on a B&B basis are available for £60 extra, per night.
