The Deal

For less than the usual room-only price, sample what the Belfast Telegraph calls a 'lesson in luxury', with an overnight stay including breakfast and dinner at the 5-star Culloden Estate and Spa. This deal, which would regularly cost at least £310, includes:

- Overnight stay for two in an Executive Double/Twin Room
- 4-course à la carte dinner in the Mitre Restaurant
- Full Irish breakfast
- Access to the spa and a £10 credit per room

Originally built as a palace for the Bishops of Down, this Gothic mansion sits in the Holywood hills overlooking Belfast Lough. As well as providing a handy base for the shops, restaurants and museums in Belfast, the hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the new Titanic Belfast attraction. This 9-gallery exhibition opened last month and is the world's largest Titanic visitor experience -- a fitting tribute to the birthplace of the ill-fated ship.

Along with upgraded bed-and-breakfast accommodation in an Executive Room, the deal includes dinner in the Mitre Restaurant. Head chef Paul McKnight serves up dishes such as seared sea bass and wicklow venison wellington. The next morning, guests will be served a full Irish breakfast, worth £20 per person.

In addition to complimentary spa access, each room will receive £10 spa credit for use towards treatments. This deal is valid for Sunday to Thursday stays until 30 September. Not available for Friday or Saturday stays or 8, 23 May; 14 June. Subject to availability. Additional nights are available for £99 per room on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
