The Deal

Lytton's Restaurant is set within a 17th-century country manor in eight acres of countryside on the edge of Letchworth Garden City. This Hertfordshire eatery is now offering two Travelzoo subscribers a 3-course meal, plus a glass of prosecco each, for £29 instead of the usual £70.

You and a friend can choose any starter, any main course and any dessert from the set menu for less than £15 each.

Although the menu is subject to change, here's an idea of what each person can expect:

- Any starter, such as ham hock with mustard terrine, piccalilli and sour dough toast, or an antipasti board with stuffed peppadew peppers, olives and feta cheese
- Any main course, such as roasted free-range chicken supreme with Chinese cabbage, spring onion,
oyster mushroom and coconut broth and egg noodles, or Lytton’s traditional roast dinner with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy
- Any dessert, with options including rich chocolate steamed pudding with sweet mascarpone and chocolate syrup, or Lytton’s strawberry mess with broken meringue, Chantilly cream, fresh berries and crème de cassis

You'll also get a glass of prosecco each on arrival.

Save even more by getting a group together for dinner -- four people can dine on the above offer for £55 instead of the usual £140 (which works out at just £13.75 a head).

This offer is available for dinner seven days a week until 23 December. Lytton's is a 15-minute drive from the centre of Stevenage, and about half an hour from Luton and Bedford.
