The Small Print

Valid for an 8-course tasting menu for two people and a glass of champagne each. Can be used for lunch or dinner, Wednesday-Friday until 21 May, 2012. Excludes 24-13 January, 2012. Subject to availability. Reservations are required. Any additional items ordered will be charged at their usual value. Multiple vouchers may be purchased per person or as gifts. There is no limit to the number of vouchers that may be used per table. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Must be used in one visit. Menu items are subject to change. Note: the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday. Gratuity is not included. Note: This is a limited offer and may sell out before the expiry date.

The Deal

For £65, you and a friend can enjoy a memorable gourmet experience at Restaurant Allium in Fairford, named Best Restaurant at the 2011 Taste of Gloucestershire Food and Farming Awards. Highly praised by The Telegraph, Country Life magazine and The Times, this award-winning dining experience would normally cost £144.

Valid for lunch or dinner, Wednesday-Friday for the next six months, this deal includes all of the following:

- A glass of champagne on arrival
- Savoury Cerney goats' cheese salad cone
- Platter of breads and home-cured charcuterie
- Local rabbit served with roasted carrots and mushrooms
- Skate served with cauliflower purée, fragrant gnocchi, fresh salad and crab crumbs
- Sea bass served with fresh local beans
- Grouse with bread sauce and honey, served with pâté and toast
- Lemon posset
- Praline parfait pine cone served with lemon thyme yoghurt ice cream, chocolate, sloe gin and sherbet

Restaurant Allium is run by husband-and-wife team Erica and James Graham. In fact, co-owner and head chef James was previously awarded Chef of the Year by Cotswold Life magazine. Since establishing the restaurant in 2004, the pair have built a reputation for sourcing locally grown produce, and the tasting menu changes regularly according to what ingredients are in season.

With a picturesque location in the pretty Cotswold town of Fairford, the Gloucestershire restaurant on Market Square has received glowing reviews from national publications and prestigious culinary guides.
