The Deal

Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester - Five Lakes is set in 320 acres of stunning Essex countryside, and became the first Crowne Plaza Resort to open in the UK when it relaunched last summer after a multimillion-pound refurbishment.

When the reviewer for People.co.uk visited the 4-star resort's newly launched spa in February, she described the massage and mini facial as the "perfect pampering" treat, before naming it Spa of the Week.

Located near Maldon, Five Lakes in Tolleshunt Knights now boasts two extra eateries -- Brasserie 1 and Catch 22. It also features a sophisticated new cocktail bar and two golf courses.
