The Deal

For £35 instead of £67.70, two people can visit The Bull & Willow Room -- a 2-AA-Rosette-awarded gastropub in Great Totham -- and savour a 3-course gourmet dinner each and a glass of bubbly.

The Bull & Willow Room was shortlisted for Gastropub of the Year at the Essex Life Fine Food and Drink Awards 2011, and is a new entry in The AA Pub Guide 2013.

This deal is available for lunch or dinner Monday-Friday until 3 April, 2013 and includes:

- A glass of prosecco or house wine each
- A starter each* with options including seared wood pigeon and damson vinaigrette, or beetroot cured salmon, sour bread and pickles
- A main course*, such as seared sea bass with fennel and new potatoes, or short rib beef and onion cottage pie
- A dessert each**, from options including warm chocolate pudding, or lemon tart with lemon curd cream

This 16th-century inn features in the Michelin Guide 2013, which praises its "great British classics" and "attractive" and "modernised" interior, as well as its use of seasonal produce.

The Bull & Willow Room is located in the quaint Essex village of Great Totham, a 10-minute drive from to Maldon and a 30-minute drive from Chelmsford and Colchester.

Terms and conditions: This voucher is valid for two people and must be used in one visit. Each person is entitled to a glass of prosecco or house wine, a starter, a main course and a dessert from the Dinner Menu. *A £3 supplement applies to the scallops and a £5 supplement applies to the rib-eye steak. **Excludes the cheese board.
