The Deal

Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel's restaurant was described as "countryside perfection" by thisisnorthdevon.co.uk. Now, the venue is offering two Travelzoo subscribers the chance to dine on a 3-course meal, plus a glass of wine each, for less than £18 a head.

This dining package from Tyme Restaurant, which regularly costs £64.90, is available seven days a week until 28 February, 2013.

Although menu items are subject to change, here's an idea of what you can expect to choose from the hotel's set menu:

- Any starter each, such as crab cakes served with lemon mayonnaise on a bed of salad leaves, or vegetable spring rolls served with a sweet chilli dipping sauce
- A main course each, such as pan-fried duck breast served with new potatoes on a bed of salad leaves with a balsamic and strawberry vinegar dressing, or loin of local roast pork with Dijon-mashed potatoes and a sweet apple sauce
- A dessert each, such as warm chocolate cake served with ice cream, or fresh fruit salad served with a choice of sorbet

Each person will also get a glass of house wine.

Travelzoo has also negotiated a special deal, including all of the above, followed by a night's stay in the hotel plus breakfast the next morning, for £109 per couple. This offer, which saves up to £77 per couple on the usual price, is available Sunday-Thursday, until 28 February.
