The Deal

Occupying a serene spot by the Newquay beach from which it takes its name, Fistral Spa is an ideal place to escape for a day's pampering. For £55 instead of the usual £108.90, you can relax with a choice of treatments lasting over an hour, a 3-course à la carte lunch, use of spa facilities and bubbly.

Fistral Spa is located in The Bay Hotel, and boasts stunning views of the Cornish coastline. With this exclusive offer, choose any one of the following treatments, which all last 1hr 25 minutes each:

- Luxury back, face and scalp treatment
- Aromatherapy body and scalp massage
- Total holistic body care
- Luxury ESPA facial and skin analysis

You'll also get a glass of bubbly on arrival, plus access to the spa's facilities such as swimming pool, relaxation room, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, and use of a robe and slippers for the day.

A 3-course à la carte meal in The Bay Bar is also included in this package; although the menu is subject to change, here's an idea of what you can expect:

- A starter, such as locally smoked chicken and mushroom tart or pancetta, radish and pear salad
-A main course -- we like the sound of grilled seabass or fillet of beef stroganoff
- A dessert, such as caramelised pineapple and milk ice cream or a selection of cheeses
