The Deal

"Generous food and views of the busy canal" were highlights of The Good Pub Guide 2013's visit to The Dusty Miller. Now, you and a friend can tuck into a 2-course meal with bubbly at this converted 19th-century mill for under £15 a head -- saving over half the usual price.

The Dusty Miller, which is located in the leafy Cheshire village of Wrenbury, underwent a major refurbishment last year to update its interiors.

This deal, which is valid for lunch (12-3pm) and dinner (6-9pm) Tuesday-Friday, includes all of the following:

- A glass of bubbly each
- A starter each, such as seared king prawns in a tomato, herb and feta fondue with crispy noodles, or smoked salmon with horseradish gribiche, potato galette and watercress
- A main course each -- we're tempted by the assiette of lamb with minted croquettes and a red wine and mint jus, or the roasted duck breast with root vegetable dauphinoise, green vegetables and a plum jus

This offer is available from 4 December-17 December, then from 3 January, 2013-28 February.
