The Deal

The multi-award winning Residence Restaurant & Bar in Nantwich has put together a half-price package including four cocktails and a sharing platter for two for the equivalent of £12.50 a head.

This deal, from a venue described as "elegant" and "striking" by Cheshire Life magazine, would make a great festive treat.

Travelzoo subscribers can choose from one of the following three sharing platters:

- A seafood platter with cayenne whitebait, salmon fish cake, gravlax salmon, crayfish, anchovies and warm pitta
- A charcuterie platter with chorizo, salami, prosciutto, sunblush tomato salad, red onion chutney and warm bread
- A tasting platter with beef carpaccio, trio of hoummus, chicken, liver parfait, olives and feta, and warm pitta

A choice of two cocktails each. Some of our favourites include:

- A spiced pineapple mojito, with Bacardi Oakheart rum, orange liqueur, mint, lemon and pineapple juice
- Eight martini options, including the white chocolatini
- Roses gin, made up of gin, basil, Luxardo Maraschino, cardaman syrup and lime marmalade
- Classic daquiris, margaritas and bloody mary
