Recommended in the Michelin Guide 2012, The Social at The Parc Hotel by Thistle in Cardiff's city centre boasts two AA Rosettes. Its executive chef Iain Inman, formerly of 5-star Pennyhill Park Hotel in Surrey, prides himself on sourcing the finest local produce.

For £19.50 each, Travelzoo subscribers can savour a gourmet experience that includes any three courses from the à la carte menu and bubbly for two.

Worth up to £84 and valid daily for the next six months, this offer includes:

- A glass of prosecco each
- Any two starters, such as smoked pigeon breast with raisin purée and apple and walnut salad, or Thai-spiced Swansea cockles with laverbread pancake
- Any two main courses, like saddle of Welsh lamb with garlic and rosemary, or Moroccan-spiced monkfish with courgette, and mint and chorizo cous cous
- Any two desserts, such as rich chocolate and amaretto mousse or a board of Welsh cheeses
