The Small Print

Valid Saturday or Sunday, from 24 September-9 October, 2011, or on any other date as agreed by Lagoon Watersports. Subject to availability. Advance bookings are required. No limit to the number of vouchers that can be purchased per person or as gifts. Failure to turn up leads to forfeiture. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Must be used in one visit. All equipment and tuition provided. You must be a minimum of eight years old to participate.

The Deal

Lagoon Watersports in Hove is offering the chance to try your hand at three fun watersports for just £29. This half-day course -- usually £75 -- combines windsurfing, dinghy sailing and stand-up paddleboarding.

Designed for complete beginners, this 3-hour group course takes place in a shallow and sheltered lagoon, an ideal learning environment for newcomers, where you will spend an hour learning the basics of each activity with a qualified instructor:

Windsurfing: Your instructor will take you on a dry land simulator and show you how to get the sail up and be ready to windsurf and to turn around. You will then head out on the water and put into practice under the guidance of the instructor

Sailing: You will be sailing in Laser Pico dinghies (small sailing boats). The instructor will show you how to trim the sail and turn around, and you will get to sail the boats on Hove Lagoon

Paddle Boarding: Learn how to use the paddle to control the board, turn around and how to balance (Lagoon Watersports tell us that this is quite easy)

All equipment is provided, including a wetsuit.

The offer is valid for courses on six initial weekend dates in September and October but Lagoon Watersports will open up further dates should the demand arise.
