The Small Print

This voucher is valid for one person and includes a Mapledurham Estate and river Thames helicopter flight, including a tour of the estate, plus cream tea. The minimum age is six years but under 12s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Maximum weight 17 stone (please contact Hillmotts Retreat if you are over 15 stone). The helicopter will carry up to 6 passengers. Valid on select weekend dates until 29 July. Subject to availability. Advance booking is required. There is no limit to the number of vouchers that can be purchased per person or as gifts. Cannot be combined with any other offer. No cash value or cash back. Must be used in one visit.

The Deal

For just £49, soar through the skies with this helicopter flight over the picturesque Mapledurham Estate (near Reading) and river Thames, and enjoy cream tea afterwards.

This experience from Hillmotts Retreat would normally cost £99 -- you save 51%.

The helicopter will commence its 8-mile flight from Mapledurham House, the location for numerous film and TV productions -- most famously "The Eagle Has landed" starring Michael Caine.

From the skies you will be able to spot local landmarks from heights of up to 1000 feet and get a birds-eye view of the estate’s Old Water Mill, St Margaret's church, and surrounding countryside.

When you land, you will receive a tour of the house and the Old Water Mill, both of which date back to Doomesday England.

You can then visit the beautiful St Margaret's church, which contains the Bardolf Aisle, the final resting place for the Lords and Ladies of Mapledurham House since 1395.

The experience will end with traditional ceam tea and scones (made from flour ground at the mill itself) and served in the tea room.

Mapledurham House, just outside of Reading, is easily accessible via the M4 and has plenty of parking.
