Home to hundreds species of coral and fish, Okinawa's warm waters, known for excellent visibility, afford world-class diving and snorkelling. Travelzoo subscribers can now explore the marine world around the Kerama islands for up to 20% less than the regular price, with this deal from diving specialists Marine House Seasir.

Catering to all abilities, discounted excursions include:

  • Snorkelling... £44 per person (was £55), including equipment and a short lesson
  • Introductory diving... £57 per person (was £72), including diving and snorkelling equipment and one dive. For £87 per person (usually £108), certified divers can take an excursion that visits different sites and includes two dives.

All trips come with return hotel transfers (from the Naha city area), a Japanese lunch, towels and insurance. Double-deck diving boats have a hot shower, fresh water and a toilet on board. Instructors speak English.

The 20% discount is valid on most dates 1 March-9 August.

The following peak-season dates have been discounted by 10%: 27 April-6 May; 15, 22, 29 June; 6, 13-15, 20, 27 July; 3 August.

The dive centre is a 20-minute drive from Naha airport.

Until the end of March, whales and dolphins can be seen in the waters around Okinawa. For £27 per person (usually £33), take a whale-watching excursion and catch the end of the season. Hotel transfers are included from Naha, and if you don't see any whales or dolphins on the trip, a full refund will be given.
