When can I go?
Le Val Thorens, which was renovated in 2012, is in the centre of the resort, with instant access to the slopes. It has two restaurants, a health spa with a heated indoor swimming pool and views of the slopes. Beauty treatments and massages are available for a supplement.
Rooms are decorated in a Scandinavian style and all come with a 32-inch flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. iPads and iPods can be hired from reception.
Guests get a 20% discount on ski hire from the on-site Val ThoSport shop. You can change your equipment free of charge throughout the week and store everything in the locker room leading straight to the slopes. Ski passes can also be bought at the hotel.
