Rosalie Bay, an eco-friendly hotel in Dominica has slashed a third off its rates until 22 December. With rooms starting at £85 ($139) per night, this is a saving of 33% on the usual price.
All room types (Gardenview Superior to Premier Oceanfront Suite) are available with this discount and prices range from £85 to £196 ($319). Continental breakfast is included.
Nestled at the foothills of UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, the resort generates 70% of its power from its own wind turbine and rooftop solar panels. It’s also home to one of Dominica’s turtle nesting sanctuaries.
Facilities at Rosalie Bay include a pool, a fitness centre, a spa, a restaurant and a bar. Guests can try out daily yoga classes, massage lessons and guided hikes along the nature trail for an extra fee.
Not to be confused with the Dominican Republic, Dominica is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles and is located between Guadeloupe and Martinique. Rosalie Bay is 45 minutes from the capital city Roseau on the southeast coast of the island.
