Guernsey deals don't come around that often, but this one's a corker: two nights in a 4-star hotel, with a whole host of extras, for £99 per person. The package would cost over 35% more if you were to put it together yourself, plus it includes complimentary car hire to explore the island.
Here's what you get:
The hotel is surrounded by parkland and is next to a lake; all Classic Rooms with a view have a balcony or terrace overlooking the grounds. There's a 9-hole golf course designed by Tony Jacklin CBE, as well as an indoor swimming pool, a steam room, a sauna, a whirlpool, a gym and a relaxation room.
Dining options include a cafe bar, a summer terrace overlooking the croquet lawn and tennis courts, and the Victor Hugo Restaurant (named after the one-time local and author of Les Misérables) -- all use fresh, locally sourced produce.
It's a 15-minute walk to Guernsey's capital, St Peter Port. There, you'll find Hauteville House (where Victor Hugo once lived), a busy harbour next to a sandy beach and cobbled alleyways lined with antique shops.
Return travel is not included, but guests get discounted flights with Aurigny Air from London Gatwick from £80, return (subject to availability). Alternatively, ferry crossings from the UK's south coast take as little as two hours and 45 minutes.
This offer is valid for stays every day from 1 November-31 January, 2013.
Not available on 23 December-1 January.
Add on extra nights for £39 per person, per night, with breakfast and car hire.
