Hotel Pont Royal was built in 1923 and has welcomed guests such as writers Albert Camus and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, plus artists Joan Miro, Marc Chagall and Bernard Buffet.

Located in Paris' Latin Quarter the hotel is close to the iconic Café de Flore a one-time hangout of French philosophers Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir. The hotel's restaurant was developed by chef Joël Robuchon who was awarded with two Michelin stars in 2011.
