Alicante has hotels and accommodation types to suit all pockets. There are a large number of hotels near the seafront and harbour, many of which offer easy access to the beach.

Of these, a good selection offer all-inclusive facilities. Many of these also have Mediterranean views, good family facilities, restaurants and swimming pools.
If you want to be at the heart of the action, choose the area around the Paseo Explanada de España, Alicante’s palm-lined promenade. Alicante's old quarter also has a wide choice of accommodation within easy reach of the area's many bars and English-style pubs.

While these are the most central areas, there are hotels and resorts scattered all the way along the coast and these can prove to be more peaceful, especially in the summer when the centre of Alicante gets particularly busy.

The four-star Abba Centrum Alicante Hotel is centrally located just a couple of minutes from the beach and the marina. It has a restaurant, business centre and gymnasium.

The Meliá Alicante hotel is located next to Postiguet Beach and also has impressive facilities including a choice of restaurants and bars, a wellness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.

Alicante Airport is located 9km southwest of the city and is the jumping off point to Spain’s Costa Blanca. Depending on traffic, the journey takes between 15-30 minutes. There is a taxi stand at the airport and there are also regular buses to the city.

A tram runs from Alicante to Denia stopping at beaches and resorts along the coast.
