The city’s hostales are also a good choice for travellers on a shoestring. For those seeking an outdoor experience, there are some excellent campsites on the Costa Blanca. Transport in AlicanteAlicante Airport is located 9km southwest of the city and is the jumping off point to Spain’s Costa Blanca. Depending on traffic, the journey takes between 15-30 minutes. There is a taxi stand at the airport and there are also regular buses to the city. A tram runs from Alicante to Denia stopping at beaches and resorts along the coast. |
