Telluride is a quaint, yet vibrant town with stunning mountains as a backdrop. Plan a visit to the area with a retreat at Hotel Madeline, which earns the AAA 4-Diamond and Forbes 4-star distinction. Once you check in, explore the area’s historic district -- comprising Victorian era buildings, restaurants and fine shops. A complimentary gondola provides not only scenic views, but transit around the Mountain Village.
This part of Colorado is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Try out activities like fly-fishing, mountain biking and kayaking. In addition, Telluride hosts more than 30 summer festivals, including a Bluegrass Festival and Wine Festival.
Back at the hotel, head to Rev Restaurant, which features a succulent menu of breakfast and dinner entrees including farm-fresh eggs, house-smoked salmon and pan-roasted Colorado chicken. Post-dinner, meet up at Smak Bar, which provides a casual dining menu and handcrafted cocktails. Be sure and book a spa treatment or head to the Telluride Golf Club to make your trip complete.
Each night, retire to a spacious guest room featuring a deep soaking tub, 450-thread count linens and Wi-Fi access. Some deluxe rooms feature balconies, and some suites and condo units offer fireplaces and a full kitchen.
Guests are responsible for a $22 nightly resort fee that covers access to the full-service spa and lounge, fitness center and steam room, in-room Wi-Fi Internet access, year-round heated swimming pool and hot tub, nightly turndown service as requested, in-room mineral water replenished daily, Town of Mountain Village Gondola Transportation and Village Dial-A-Ride transportation, outdoor plaza lawn games and Telluride airport roundtrip transfers. The winter resort fee also includes ski valet service.
