Crvena Luka Hotel & Resort is a modern 4-star property on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. The resort overlooks the Kornati National Park, an archipelago of 89 islands, and has views of the Adriatic Sea. The nearest town, Biograd na Moru (the capital of the Croatian Kingdom in medieval times), is 15 minutes' drive along the coast.
The resort is a 45-minute drive from Šibenik, a waterfront medieval city with a labyrinth of steep stone backstreets that are "a joy to explore", according to Lonely Planet. It also doubles as the city of Braavos in the fifth season of "Game of Thrones" -- key locations include the UNESCO-recognised Cathedral of St James, The Square of the Republic of Croatia, the Town Hall and the Fortress of St John. Krka National Park, which featured in the fourth season of "Game of Thrones", is less than an hour's drive away. The resort is also 45 minutes by car from the city of Zadar, where you'll find Roman ruins, medieval churches and a vibrant café culture.
The property is on a quiet bay surrounded by ancient pine woodlands and has direct access to a sandy beach. There's a choice of two restaurants, serving international cuisine and pizza, and there's an ice cream shop. Other on-site facilities include a fitness centre, mini golf, two tennis courts, outdoor bowling, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, and a basketball court.
Rooms are modern and have a balcony. Apartments sleep up to four people and are ideal for families, with two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. They are on the ground floor, and each has a private garden.
