More Room Types

While the Conrad New York isn’t in the heart of New York City action, repeat guests prefer it that way. The 5-star hotel hugs the Hudson River front in lower Manhattan, on the edge of chic Tribeca – one of the city’s most expensive neighborhoods.

A stay here gives you a glimpse of what it might be like to live in this high-rent district. The hotel is surrounded by luxury condos and rooms at the hotel are apartment-like as well. Each room is a plush suite starting at 430 square feet with a separate living room and wet bar area. Wi-Fi and Nespresso coffee are free.

Built in 2012, the hotels ultra-modern design immediately puts you in awe. A two-story aluminum and cable sculpture dangles over the lobby, and the nifty in-room touch panels, clean-lines and soothing back lighting sort of make you feel like you've checked-in to an iPad.

Step outside to find locals with baby joggers running along the riverfront promenade or lugging organic goodies home from Whole Foods (there’s one across the street). Turn the corner and One World Trade Center stands proud and tall, just two blocks away.

While the immediate neighborhood is dotted with restaurants, the on-site Atrio restaurant is recommended by Forbes Travel Guide, and the rooftop Loopy Doopy bar serves up pricey cocktails and Hudson River Views.
