Part of the Solare Hotels & Resorts chain, Hotel Avanshell Akasaka in central Tokyo is a modern building located in the bustling Akasaka district.
Akasaka adjoins the Chiyoda ward, where you can find the Imperial Palace, the Yasukuni Shrine, the national parliament buildings, the National Museum of Modern Art and the famous Budokan arena. All of these landmarks can be reached from Akasaka Metro station, three minutes' walk from the hotel, in 10-15 minutes. Akihabara, a shopping district known for its electronic and computer goods, is around 25 minutes away on the Metro, and Roppongi, one of Tokyo's premier nightlife districts, with hundreds of restaurants, bars and clubs, is 15 minutes away by Metro.
The hotel has an on-site Italian restaurant and café, where breakfast (included in the room rate) is served daily from 7-9.30am. Lunch and dinner menus are also available Monday-Friday. Parking is available at the hotel (at a surcharge).
The 71 contemporary, apartment-style rooms and suites are large by Tokyo's standards, all measuring 40m squared or larger. They all have free Wi-Fi, TVs and fridges, and some also have balconies. In-room massages are available upon request.
