Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall Hotel & Spa, part of which is a converted 16th-century mansion, is set within 65 acres of Warwickshire countryside. With the famous towns of Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon a short drive away, the hotel is in an ideal location to explore the historic heart of England.
Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon are both a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Stratford-upon-Avon, the birth and death place of Britain’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare, is an "unmistakably Tudor town" according to Lonely Planet. A visit to Warwick Castle, described by Frommer’s as the "finest medieval castle in England", is also a must.

Amenities include beauty rooms and health club with a swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room and a gym. The hotel also has a 2-AA-Rosette fine dining restaurant, Moncreiffe, and AA-Rosette-awarded brasserie, the orangery. At the orangery, the AA recommends the twice-baked goats' cheese soufflé with a Waldorf salad. Breakfast, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch is also available.
