Built during the Roaring Twenties, the Park Central hotel makes quite the statement in Midtown Manhattan with its Art Deco exterior. Inside, the hotel flirts between a modern design and the glitz of the Jazz Age.

Getting there

From JFK, the journey in a yellow cab will take around 45 minutes in good traffic. There is a flat-rate fee of US$52, plus tolls and surcharges. Newark is roughly the same distance. The nearest subway is a minute away (57th Street - 7th Avenue) and Grand Central Terminal is less than 25 minutes' walk.
