The Elysium, described as "an extraordinary place" by the Daily Mail, is next to the historical site of the Tomb of the Kings in Paphos. The property is surrounded by pools, gardens and a sandy cove and is accessed by crossing a drawbridge and heading through a medieval archway. As well as an outdoor pool, there is a diving school, tennis courts and the Opium Health Spa. There are three 18-hole golf courses within a 20-minute drive.
There are nine bars and restaurants on site, including the Lemonia Piazza (offering alfresco all-day dining and where breakfast and dinner is served). O'Shin Restaurant specialises in sushi and Ristorante Bacco is the hotel's Italian-themed eatery.
