For £379 per person, spend a week skiing in Mayrhofen -- a resort in the Austrian Tyrol that The Daily Telegraph praises for its "traditional and lively" village charm. This deal from Iglu Ski saves up to £256 on the regular price and includes flights, transfers, seven nights' accommodation and meals.
Departures are from London Gatwick on 5, 12 January, 2013. Travel on 15 December for £6 more per person, or ski over Christmas for £20 more per person. Single rooms are also available for no supplement on some dates. A 20kg checked baggage allowance is included.
Half-board accommodation is at the 3-star Hotel Garni Pramstraller, a family-run guesthouse in the heart of Mayrhofen. It's 400m from the Penken gondola and 50m from a ski bus stop running to three further lifts. Rooms come with an ensuite bathroom and satellite TV, and most have a balcony. Breakfast is served at the hotel, with a 3-course set dinner taken at the 4-star Hotel Berghof opposite.
Mayrhofen is the largest resort in the Ziller Valley and known for its lively après-ski and varied terrain. The ski area is home to 620km of pistes, as well as excellent skiing and boarding off-piste and on the Hintertux glacier.
